Heh Subedei that's a really nice sculpt. The face immediately reminded me of Giovanni Auditore.



One thing your sculpt does have is some personality in the face. He could easily pass as Irish if he is not tanned to me. I always find it difficult to get a character be a certain nationality. I think that's mainly down to the viewers percetion of what "Irish" or any nationality is.

Hey vertexmover thanks for the feedback.

I do think we tend to lean towards what we know, and if your Irish you have seen Irish faces all your life so I hope I am influenced by that. But I still havent found the key to making someone look Irish or any nationality consciously but you can certainly tell by looking at some people where they are from, suppose its just a matter of study and eventually I'll get there.

Thanks alot Darkcult, ill post up wires hopefully soon enough, drawing closer to finishing the body and then normal and displacement mapping and painting/texturing, ill through up the wires then, unfortunately right in the middle of this I am off tomorrow for a weeks holidays, so will be a bit, thanks for the interest!
