IADT Game Jam

€6IADT is hosting a Game Jam on the 28th of March in the Media Cube (The big blue building at the campus entrance) starting at 9am.
It is a 12 hour event. A theme will be announced in the morning and attendees will have around 11 hours to make a game based on the theme.
Board & card games are welcome, as are computer and/or any other types of game!
Games will be judged under two categories:
Judges Choice: The judge’s favorite game.
Peoples Choice: Everybody’s favorite game, decided on by a vote.
Tickets subsidize food and prizes.

What happens at a game jam?
Several teams of people enter a room, and a theme is announced. Each team makes a small, simple game or prototype based on the theme. Once time is up, we play each other’s games, choose a winner, and then head to the pub.
Will I be able for a game jam?
Absolutely. You can make a game any way you see fit.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring your own laptop/tools/craft materials etc.
Do I have to be in a team?
No, we will sort out teams on the day for anyone who isn’t already in one
