      New trailer has been released.

      30MB:

Still 6 months until the release (I think…)

That movie is a long time coming, remember seeing trailers for it about 2.5 years ago. Have you seen Richard Linklater’s “Waking Life”?

I did, I thought it was bad. having said that I saw it in the IFC and I usually have a bad movie going experience there. I think its too warm or something. I usually want to leave before the end of the film.

Waking Life, yeah…it did my head in a bit. Too much camera movement…it makes the Bourne Supremacy look like a painting (as far as I remember).

The technique has been refined quite a bit now.

You know, it all seems interesting, and it might be good, but I’m just not sure about it. With all the rotoscoping and everything else, it just feels like a Hollywood movie given a graphical overhaul, rather then an animated movie that really takes advantage of its art and animation to pull the viewer in.
Still, it might be good and if the guy is right, it could help pull more adults to animation, I guess I’d just prefer if the movie did more with the artistic medium.
