      Wasn’t expecting this, but a good move by Adobe.

      So, which of the following are going to be maintained and which eliminated;

      Photoshop vs Fireworks (!!)
      GoLive vs Dreamweaver
      Illustrator vs Freehand

      Will Flash survive? (of course)

      Will Director survive? (maybe)

      Saw someone comment that Adobe might just fix Director paint window (plug ps in there!). Interesting times ahead.

      My guesses:
      Photoshop – unfortunately in some ways. Fireworks is better for the Web by far and easier to use
      Dreamweaver – no contest
      Illustrator – no contest

      Will Flash survive? (of course)

      Will Director survive? (maybe)

      I wonder if there will be a touch of “not invented here” though?

      I’m really keen to see what the comittment (or otherwise) will be to Director. Certainly a niche product at this stage. An oldie but a goodie.

      There is no chance in hell Adobe would replace Photoshop or Illustrator. They are industry standards at this stage…..

      Dreamweaver, Flash and Director will also be kept…..
