When I try to alter my forum settings (location or occupation) I get this error:

You incorrectly filled in the loc field.
You incorrectly filled in the occ field.
You incorrectly filled in the sig field.

I even get it when I change none of these fields…I had to leave them blank in order to continue.

      Merci!

yes I have been getting the php error a bit too in the past two weeks…I think we need to investigate. Often the post will be made…regardless of the error.

I think editing your forum settings is probably a different matter.

this is also proving to be a problem for new signups to the forums.

it is on our to do list…so it has not been forgotten

I’m sorry to bump this up after two-or-so years, but I get the same issues as described. Oh, let it be clear that I’m not here to complain, I’d just like to know if there is some kind of workaround to modify your own profile :) Long, long time has passed since my last login and just wanted to update a few things :)

      Cheers and thanks!

      what a nicely worded complaint!

actually we have been working on new updated bulletin board software but as you have noticed when we are all volunteers it takes a while.

I have no idea why there is such a problem editing location fields…but the techy folks will have to answer that one

      Thanks for your answer!

I know what it means to be all volunteers :D Even more so, I meant no rush whatsoever!
