Jason Della Rocca today announced the opening of the ballet boxes for the Game Developers Choice Awards. Here’s the notice, be sure to take part. :)

Happy New Year!

Just a quick note to say that the nominations for the 5th annual Game
Developers Choice Awards has now commenced:

With GDC earlier in March this year, the nominations period is shorter than
usual (ie, deadline is January 14th). So, best to get up to the site asap
and make your nominations.

The process is even easier than in past years. Now, you can nominate as
many games in as many categories as you like! And, as usual, there’s no
cost to submit a nomination. You don’t even have to be a paying member…

Finally, I ask that you spread the word among your colleagues and
co-workers. The power of the Choice Awards lies in the fact that they
reflect the choice of the community – their value increases with each new
choice…
