I hope to pop out to the incubator tomorrow afternoon if anyone is around. I believe there are some talks on?

ooooh, Whose job is it to promo such talks? Even though I’m not in Dublin at the moment I can plan ahead if I know about this sort of thing :D

How come they don’t post this on Ireland’s main game dev site about this sort of thing (GD.ie)?

      Just genuinely curious :)

      It’s no ones job.
The incubator is a self organising leaderless utopia.

You could do it if you like.

I think you misunderstand me, when there are talks on, how do you know about the talks?

There is no current centralised means of finding out that I know of. I don’t hear about many of the events that go on there myself and I am just across the road from the place.

I found out about this one in an email this morning from Mark O’Tool ( the games ireland guy ). I think it is him putting this one on. But my understanding is that there are loads of events put on my different folk, hence the lack of centralised and organised announcements.

Not sure they are open to everyone, they are for the benefit of the companies in the incubator….and a few others. Probably for space reasons too.

they are not even on the games ireland site and they are essentially running the incubator.

I will chat to them about it later
