picked up “masters of doom” off amazon for a song and gotta say its some read. For those who dont know about this book its a kind of biography of John Carmack and John Romero, the guys who founded ID software. Any never realised they screwed over so many ppl to get ahead. Most notably head of Softdisk.
Definately, worth a purchase, good page turner.

I think its HBO in the US that are making a TV movie of the book, that should be a laugh.

One of the guys written about (not a carmack :p) in the book is suing the publishers because of alledged slander.

      Lorenzo Lamas is John Romero.*
That weird tall mute from star trek: the next generation is John Carmack.*

*not really, but they are my picks.
