Bought my first graphics tablet the other day, and just got round to playing with it. Haven’t gotten the knack of it yet but thought I would show my 2nd attempt at something (First was a very poor Mickey Mouse). Spent about 45mins on this but I hope to improve, haven’t drawn in a long time.

    Lookin’ good!
Graphic tablet is a must for me (Photoshop, zBrush, etc). My Wacom is like an extention of my digital arm, couldn’t imagine my life without it at this stage.
Keep us updated and post more stuff as you progress. Do you use Painter, Photoshop or … ?

    Thanks Darkcult,
I got a little Wacom pen & touch. It’s nice, though I think I need to change the settings as I wore a mill or two off the nib (I’ve got replacements though). I’m using photoshop CS2 but I’m going to watch some tutorials during the week as I’m sure I haven’t got things setup right (Blur tool not doing much and a few other niggles).

Do you use painter? I’ve never tried it before, might get the trial and give it a whirl.

I’m using Photoshop CS4, but I would say try Painter also and see how it goes
