Aren’t all screenies touched up? Aren’t all glossy mag covers airbrushed? You’ve got to put your best foot forward!

Unfortunately not…[/quote:05b45b3eea]Thats bs damian, all shots to a certain extent are touched up before release as coming out of a raw engine mid-dev, everything isnt rosy, unless you shots are 2 weeks from the end of dev, aliasing etc, all stuff which will be fixed. You can honestly say ye never touched one shot up. i heard otherwise..lol.. dont be so quick to be high and mighty..
As for the killzone shot, personally i dont think that screen shot had much changed. Just the scene differently lit in the touch up. i suspect the lighting effects is in dev or flux.
didnt motorstorm get flak for this sort of thing before, over their rendered video of game play way back ages ago, some group from bristol or soemthing did it. but IMHO motorstorm delivered what the video promised, not much different at all. similarly i know guerrila will deliver because their talent guys(probably some of the best in the biz). in the end, its the result which counts no??

Motorstorm was great and still is one of the best looking games out there. I am looking foward to playing it again when i get my new screen.

Looks like some colour correction to me, its not as if detail has been drawn in or shadows softened. I had read that because of Killzone’s washed out pallete, it is difficult to obtain accurate screenies so they saturate the screenies in Photoshop to compensate and give a truer picture.
