Anyone else out there watching LOST?

Jaysus the plot, characters, settings are brilliant.

I think there’s a wealth of information for games designers in this series.

Its reminiscent of Knights of the Old Republic II, in respect to the way the characters Bios are revealed.

I find the setting very similiar to Far Cry, and the overall theme alot like Resident Evil, i.e. Survival Horror.

      What say ye?

Truly it is fantastic, the way the story constantly changes from what the viewer thinks is going on is just compelling, and it has the details and twists of a great novel, thank god it was made for television! It is such a cross genre spectacular, but apart from that “yeah s’alright” :D am watching it online and am so trying not to jump ahead to the later episodes, at six currently.

      Aye, its great.

Well fair play if your watching it online, but just in case:

Works out about 15 Sterling delivered.

Do you see many similiarities between “Lost” and “Res Evil” or “Far Cry”?

Watched the entire 1st series in four days, found it a bit slow in places but the last third of the series is amazing. Can’t wait for season 2. As good as 24 in my book.

Can beat that.. myself and buddy did it in one sitting (with about 5 hrs sleep in between). twas a slow weekend. (although it was from episode 8 to the end, we watched, coz rte was up to there).
Definately gets very good towards the end, and everyones stories start to merge quite well.
Ya season 2 begins in late sept\oct, apparently michelle rodriguez joins the cast.
      Great show.

I’m in two minds as to who is the best “character”.

So put it to a vote:

      Locke?
      Hurley?
      Sawyer?

      What say ye?

      Hurley, for defs.

      His backstory is brilliant.

      The season finale is excellent.

check our http://www.oceanic-air.com/ theres a load of stuff to play about with in there, hidden messages and a teaser for season 2 that gives a MASSIVE twist. not really a spoiler though.

just checked that site out for the first time in ages and they’ve added some stuff. (edit) forgot the background here isnt white so copy and paste the tiny writing below cause there’s sorta spoilers in it.

ok, if you’ve finished the season put the “numbers” into the travellers thing at the bottom of the first page. then click find, this will take you to the seating chart of the plane. mess about with this, click on the “numbers” etc at the bottom right there’s a green button what says pre-board check in. It brings up a page with the name “Ethan Rom” and 8 blue boxes, drag the letters into the boxes, it’s an anagram, when you get the letters in the right place you can’t move them. when you complete it it shows you somthing on the screen, pretty cool.

yeah i read recently that Hurley is the crucial character to the story. And he doesnt have bad luck, in fact its the opposite. Make sense though, considering everyone has a link to hurley in some way. hurley owned a box factory, locke worked in one. Hurley was in a metal asylum, lockes mother was in the same one. Hurley had the comic book which the kid is reading all the time, (incidently the comic book had a picture of the polar bear and hatch cavern which had some sort of alien attached to it). Really have to what the episode closely. Its suspected that what the kid thinks of comes to life. would make sense especially in the last episode..
Also the number i presume everyone has figured out that these are the seats which the most of the main survivors sat in! jack was 23A, michelle rodiguez was 42F so chances are shes going to be back next season, which they confirmed already.
Although not all have seats in these numbers, but i reckon this could be a signal of who survives to get off the island, note boone wasnt in this.

Re-watch the first episode again, if you watch the part where the engine on the beach explodes carefully you can see the same “thing” that got locke cause that explosion, aparently it’s visible a few times during the series. Nanobots?

Locke is by all means the best character, he quite literally rocks!

I’ve been watching it on plain, old-fashioned TV. Great series so far.
Locke and Sawyer are the two best characters in my opinion.

Has the stories, depth, characters to make a great game too.
