      Hi all

well before the students and academics take off on hols and those in the industry probably take some time off too before they have to think about Christmas deadlines we should probably try to get another informal shindig somewhere..

I know Jamie had suggested something in the Xbox centre..

      other ideas welcome…

      Aphra.

It’s also my friend’s birthday on the 13th! I’ll probably be camping that weekend so it’s not good for me either. Need to stay in touch with nature now and again. ;)

29th and 6th are both fine.

:D 6th and 7th are killer long days for me … but if i have a dram of energy left in me after i finish work on 6th i’ll drop in :D

      The 6th it is then.

Perhaps, if we’re able to, we could start off at the Xbox Gaming Centre and then move on to the pub afterwards. The pub near Trinity that we were at last time was a good enough place. That is if it’s close to the Xbox Centre.

To the risk of (mostly) shocking most of ye, I am actually free on 6th July.

I comes with added freedom, to boot (wife & daughter, lucky them, are getting a couple of weeks’ headstart on me at the beach  ).

      Would be perfect.

Has anyone been in touch with Jamie?

If not, we should sort out a quick plan b. Perhaps a good pub near the centre of town.

Had an email from company secretary Friday 3pm: company summer (yeah, right) barbecue (Yeah… right!) this Friday 6th, so after all that… gotta show, so that’s me out

great, thanks Jamie…so do we know who might go to the XBox live centre first for two hours and who will be just coming to the pub. Be good to have a rough idea before Jamie starts reserving places.

nice to meet a couple of new faces last Friday night, esp David and his girlfriend, and although it was a small one I think we managed to spread sufficient gossip to make it meaningful!

I now have to find out how much of it can be made public…Ian?

      Good luck in Rebellion Ian!!!

It’s a shame to see experienced developers leave, but given the current state of game dev in Ireland, it’s unfortunately understandable also.
