Hi all,
I’m involved in a project and we will be looking for a small capable team to develop a game/demo in early 07. The game will be PC based and will be developed in collaboration with a well-known US developer. The project will need about 4+ people and has a tight schedule and is more progamming / design focussed than art focussed. The project has an appropriate budget.
If you are involved in such a team and would like to be considered for this, please contact me. Sorry I can’t give any more details at this point…

Hmm… Sounds very mysterious, yet intriguing.. :) Is this some sort of demonstration for the havok physics engine by any chance Steve? No ? :D God i wouldn’t mind getting involved in some other project outisde of the course i’m doing at the moment.. only trouble would be finding the time to do it though- i’m under severe pressure myself at the moment with college projects and i wouldn’t be sure if I’m the sort of calibre programmer you’d be looking for either.
Nonetheless if you have any more details that you are allowed to give out at this point you should post them here. It would be nice to see someone from this country maybe taking up on this offer and getting some valuable experience from it; Irish game developers need every break they can get you know! :wink:

Hi Steve,
I’m in a similar boat to Daragh there, am doing Masters in Dundee but would be interested in project. Would probably have a bit of time in the first 2 months after Christmas but after that reckon its gonna get busy as hell as the course winds down and Dare to be Digital begins. Know at least two other students who would be interested in doing this project, we’ve all made games previously so have a wee bit of experience. Let me know sure!

A little more information:
This will be a 4 or 5 month project starting probably end of January. It will be pretty full-on (tight schedule), so would not be suitable for a team of students doing this in their spare time. Also, I would be looking for a team with good 3D experience.
