I’m a bit behind on my games-to-movies news, but just read today that there is a Prince of Persia Sands of Time movie coming out next year.
Disney are behind it, which could be good if it goes down the Pirates of the Carribean road.
Jerry Bruckheimer (Con Air, Black Hawk Down – which were awesome) is the producer and the guy currently being offered the job is the director of Harry Potter’s Goblet of Fire, which I haven’t seen (or any of the other Potters for that matter).
Anyway, even though I thought all this was "breaking news" it wasn’t.

I’m not sure about casting Donnie Darko as the Persian Prince, think they could have actually cast someone from the "Persian" parts of the world, but then again, maybe I’m just being too literal and not thinking about things in a "magical hollywood" sort of way.
Maybe I just need a tea break…
