Proposed Games development workshop at 091labs in Galway

The 091labs hackerspace in Galway is proposing running a 7 day game development workshop in the near future.

We are currently developing a structure for the workshop and wish to gauge interest. We would need about 12-16 interested people to form teams of 3 to 4 to make this worthwhile.

We would like to run something where people could actually get
some intense prototyping done and the experience of working on a real game project in a team. The idea is that people have something that might have potential to be developed into actual products or use in portfolios when applying for jobs in the games industry.

This would be a structured workshop and would require seven days, ideally a preparation session of a day or two and then a week of intense development on the concepts.
