1,5 year full-time/2 years part-time course
The taught modules are delivered over two semesters, followed by the work placement and dissertation.
Participants will be required to complete a six-month period working in an industrial environment and to present a dissertation on issues pertaining to the execution of this work. Alternatively students may opt for a research-based project that is not based on their work placement.
Career prospects; Further studies
Admission will normally be restricted to graduates who have achieved a good honours degree in Computer Science or a discipline involving significant amounts of practical and theoretical issues in computer science. Note that this degree requires students to have a good initial knowledge of Computer Science, and ability in Mathematics. Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.
