(i) (as posted earlier) real USB backward- (or forward-?) compatibility, for consoles with USB i/o. How much I’d like to be able to use the same USB steering wheel for any of PC, PS2, XBX, XBX360 and further, instead of having to buy one for each (or ‘hybrids’, most of which are just dual PC/PS2), or taking a chance on a USB-to-[console] adapter, if any.
(ii) proprietary AV outs – just to make sure you have to buy the SCART or Hi-Def or 5.1 or… pack :evil: (instead of -say- a real good & expensive set of leads, e.g. Monster Cables, that will last you several hardware generations).
(iii) ‘extra’ DVD/remote kit – FFS, it’s only cents, put it in the box and the take-up rate will be just that little bit more, I’d venture enough to offset the ‘largesse’ of including a real remote, in time (consoles are still using the “Gillette business model” anyways).
