The 5th annual ARVR Innovate conference will take place on May 10th between 8:30 am – 5:30 pm at the RDS Concert Hall, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

The event is one of Europe’s most recognised augmented reality and virtual reality conferences, hosting over 40 national and international speakers, and an expo of 30 AR and VR exhibitions featuring the latest technologies.

Industry speakers will provide case studies of the varying ways in which the technologies are being incorporated into industries such as gaming, tourism, and marketing. This years speakers and exhibitors include Dutch/Irish entrepreneur and author Ron Immink, Alibaba’s Jian Gu, Dave Lorenzini of youAR and formerly of Keyhole which became Google Earth, Audi’s Jan Pfluger, Philip Nagele of Wikitude, and a showreel of the award winning Pink Kong Studios’ Aurora.

ARVR Innovate showcases the work of startup business’ in the AR and VR sectors. This years conference will host a new ‘Startup Zone’, an entirely new section of the exhibition area to highlight startups from Ireland, the UK, Europe, USA, and Russia. The Startup Zone will allow business’ to display their work to guests and speakers.

 

10 of the startup companies will be given the opportunity to present their business, technology, and aims to the crowd on the ‘Startup Stage’. The presentations will take place during the main stage intervals and will be assessed by the ARVR Innovate judges who will decide which startup will be awarded the ARVR Innovate Startup Award 2018.
