Eirtakon 2015

Eirtakon is the largest and longest-running anime (Japanese animation) and manga convention in Ireland, held every year by a dedicated committee put in place by the DCU Anime & Manga Society. It was founded in 2004 by John Doyle and Ross Duggan. This year it takes place in the Croke Park Convention Centreconv Dublin from the 13-15th of November.

Eirtakon is an convention dedicated to anime, manga and Japanese culture. It features many varied events:

– Cosplay events – skits, masquerade, photoshoots

– Anime screenings – subbed and dubbed

– Various panels, talks and workshops

– Jam-packed Traders Hall and Artists’ Alley

– Special guest panels and signing sessions

– Gaming area – consoles, handhelds, card games

– Large and varied manga library

– Annual Eirtakon Pub Quiz

There will be a range of video game events and Indie Game Developers can show their work at the event. Apply only in advance.
