I remember watching that Star Trek episode pretty distinctly, probably on Sky One. Don’t remember any Irish references so I guess I really did see the edited version.Boy, edit a episode like that, yet leave that conspiracy episode where they blow a guy’s head off with a phaser (and keep shooting a creatures that emerge from him)!
On the topic of Star Trek and Ireland, I know there were at least two Voyager episodes (back to back I think) where a Holodeck program of a fictional, coastal place in Ireland is created for the crew to relax in and be a part of. I sort of liked it.[/quote:30b6362e71]

It was so horribly Oirish! Totally stereotypical and insulting. To think Janeway even goes so far as to complement Tom Paris on his attention to detail and accuracy. It’s horrendous!
