You could try a white font on the left. Im just looking to see how dark the actual BG is. Im not sure it would work, But it could.
Just under the Oranage, part you might want the same dotted line going horizontal, to maintina consistency.
One other thing, the dotted line on the right goes straight to the bottom (nearly) the one on the left should do the exact same.
Other than that its looking great, what Blog software are you using?
