Tulip, owners of the C64 name brand have now announced just what they are about to do with the Commodore name. It is going to be a 30 dedicated games console with some of the best loved Commodore 64 games around.

Aah, fond memories of Dizzy and other games will never die. The C64 was my first ever computer of any sort and I still remember waiting half an hour for Soccer Boss to load every day only to be stuffed by every team in the game. Priceless…

would be cool if they stuck a usb of similar port on it so it could have a keyboard and other peripherals hooked up to it, load roms into it… i miss my c64:(

this thing has finally been released (albeit stateside) and it’s a c64 chipset shrunk down, not an emulator, and is built with modding in mind, so if your handy with a soldering iron you can attach ports for a keyboard, disk drive etc… don’t think a Pal version is out yet though… lots of info on http://www.dtvhacking.info
