Hello Everyone!
My name is Haley, and I am a 26 year old indie game designer, currently residing in the United States. I’ve only been involved in a few game concept designs, and am looking for opportunities to break into the industry and showcase some of my ideas and concepts.
To give you a little history, I started playing video games at age 6 when my dad gave me an original Nintendo. That was the beginning of the end for me. Since then I have played practically every genre of game, on practically every platform, from GameBoys to GameCubes.
While I have experience playing a vast variety of games, my greatest experience is with PC gaming, in the genres of MMORPGs, FPS gaming, and competitive and professional gaming. I have both run, and participated in, large scale competitive gaming events that awarded thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
I have also been involved in the business side of the industry, owning and operating my own internet cafe and gaming center for several years. Currently I am an entrepreneur, running my own small business in the Midwest, until international opportunities become available.
I am married to my awesome wife Danielle, who is also an avid gamer. I’ll cut myself off there before I go on forever. I just wanted to pop in and say a quick Hello! as I just joined the site! Thanks for having me, and you can expect to see me quite a bit in the Soapbox and Creative Design forums!
