Interesting.
I guess they are testing the waters to see how much revenue Ads can generate for a free download. I haven’t played Far Cry but a mate has, I wonder how they work the ads into a game based mostly in a Jungle.

As far as I know the ads are worked into the menu and loading screens so there are no interruptions to play. An interesting idea and one which, if kepy unobtrusive, I think most people would be willing to put up with.

ya I dont think its a huge issue like many people seem to make it. As long as it doesnt take you out of the experience. Films do it all the time, like when a person uses a laptop that laptop is from whoever, same with all things but I dont mind as long as it doesnt detract from the experience. Unless it becomes the main focus of the game/movie like Wil Smiths scene with the shoes in ‘I, Robot’.
Pretty cool that they are giving out free games tho.
