You know thats really not the way I read it. It came across much more tongue in cheek to me.
They were highlighting the usual fanboy response when X game fanboy Jim love isn’t top of the list.
As for my two cents…I don’t agree with EDGE’s top 4 either.

Some are going to agree and others will disagree. It’s no different from anything else.
In my opinion it’s been a good year for British games considering its facing so much pressure. GTA IV and Fable II were both great. Haven’t played LBP but sure it seems to be popular (at least among the critics).
Try not to lose any sleep over it.
