Hi folks,
Someone sent me a CBR file of an old graphic novel that I read many years ago, and I did a bit of searching for a few viewers.
As I was reading it, and had downloaded a few other ones, I decided to write a quick viewer myself, which would use the 3D graphics card to allow zooming etc ( while still retaining the high quality of the original scanned pages etc ).
Anywho, I’ve decided to release prototypes of the viewer on a blog as I develop it. Here’s the link if any of you fancy checking it out ( you can bittorrent for various CBR / CBZ comics – there are totally free releases of comics, and others that aren’t of course free, such as Marvel / DC comics )
