      Aphra, is your limo heading to Dublin via Belfast for the Shindig this Friday?

      If so, who’s all got a ticket? If there’s a spare one, I’ll head down with you too.

      I’ll very likely get the bus. I plan on catching a few hours sleep in the college library before I set off. (I can never sleep on the bus) Otherwise I’ll be half asleep by the time I cross into the south, as usual.

      Though, what time are you leaving Belfast at?

      by the way..there must be some other Northern folks we can encourage to join us on these trips…what ever happened to the Belfast shindigs?

      Just had one shindig in Belfast, it was good craic, but very few game developers turned up… if we get enough interest from northies at Awakenings, it might be worth organising another one in the near future.

      I should be able to pick some people up (4) from Dublin South & around + Train Station if req’d, from 07:30 onwards – if you guys want to sync timetables, I’ll be leaving Rathfarnham for Lower Baggot St at around 07:30 in my own green machine ;).

      Can’t promise ride back, though, as I’ll have to get back ‘early’ (for you guys, I imagine :D ) re. 3-months old daughter who can’t live without me!

      Ronny..not sure where your bus drops you but if it is Bus Aras (central bus station) then Connolly Station is about five minutes from bus aras

      so you can get off the Belfast train in Connolly and walk quite easily in about 15 mins to Toners or jump on a Dart (light rail train) in Connolly for two stops to pearse street station (by Mahaffys)..guess you would know where you were then..

      Was hoping to jump on a bus / train, but had a major deadline for this evening, so cannae make it this time.

      Am looking forward to the Awakenings in a few weeks time, I’ll save my liver from a pickling until then ;)

      Now that the Queen Bee is coming up North it looks like a Belfast Shindig could be a good possibility. ;)

      Too bad you couldn’t make it last night, Mal. Awakenings should be fantastic though.
