This caught my eye, as I’m currently playing through Indiana Jones – The Fate Of Atlantis.

Someone has discovered a potential location for the real Atlantis, due to Google Maps now covering the oceans :)

You’ll probably read about it in the National Enquirer :)

      Hi Mal,

Not Atlantis related, but I am playing through "Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb."

Its not bad, just FYI. What about Fate of Atlantis, any good?

I assume you’ve played The Infernal Machine also Brendan? Cracking game imo, only downside is the lack of Ford’s voice but still definitely recommended.

As for the Atlantis thing, you’d think something like that would have been noticed before the advent of Google Maps in fairness. ;)

I love how The Sun were so serious about the whole thing. I read through the entire page-long article waiting for the punchline… it never came.

FFS the grid is the size of Wales. If one person for one second even remotely considered the possibility that it was Atlantis needs smacked round the back of the head.

It’s pretty good a fairly old SCUMM 2D click game, so it’s a different style than the one you’re playing, but it’s still pretty good ( I’ve been going through and completing some of the SCUMM games like Monkey Island 1, 2, Day Of The Tentacle etc, so Indie was the next one on the list ).

If you’re into retro gaming, it’s definitely worth checking out.

In my opinion Indy : FOA is one of the best rpgs out there. Great tech for the day, great puzzles and amazing game play. Long time to complete also, good bang for the buck. Grim Fandango is wicked also Mal should drop that on your list also, should run on SCUMM also.

Fate of Atlantis and Infernal Machine has been added to my backlog of games.

Like I said, I just finished Majora’s Mask for the N64.

And just started Deus Ex (for the first time).

I know, I know, (quite the backlog).

Yeah anyone who didn’t notice the scale issues does need a slap.

Majora’s Mask is a superb game. I have some of those SCUMM games, and SCUMM on my PSP. Haven’t put the two together yet though…should do that now.
