it’s too bad everyone who found out about this small contest made a quick account (including myself obviously). But i understand very well if this contest is only meant gd.ie veteran members.
Anyway, anyone doesn’t happen to have any info or whatsoever on the beta because they have been awfully quiet about it.

I lived in Ireland half year if it matters… :)
By the way there weren’t anything about that that this giveaway is restricted for Irish gaming community only, so we gave it a try.
Of course nobody will drop bomb on Ireland or something like that if you say that we should go away, but we tried it, because there aren’t any other giveaway contest (there is another one but it doesn’t really seem to work… :( ) and we would like to play with the game, and maybe you have more key than your community needs, that’s all. -

anyway, like CbA said, there was no appaerant or clear indication that this contest was not meant for the general public. Hence i also give it a shot, figuring that many contest concerning Allods have gone nowhere so far (gamerzine & thirteen1 never gave out any winners, the contest page on gamerzine is still open for that matter despite it saying it was closing the 2nd of november).
Eitherways, sorry for the pm spam then, but you got to admit it, Allods is worth posing to be an irish games developer for :)

Ahem. I do think the offer was a special one towards regular forum members involved in the development of the irish games industry. I’m sure there is no malice or disregard for people who are eager to have a go at the beta, but I wouldn’t be surprised if nothing comes of those signing up here just to get into the beta. Best of luck anyway.

I’ll be issuing beta codes later today to those who have messaged me.
For Irish users who have contacted me, especially those from colleges, you will get priority and multiple keys.
For everyone else, I’ll be sending out instructions this evening, and the game client is now available for download from http://en.allods.gpotato.eu/Download/Client.aspx

I didn’t factor in the time inbetween sending messages, so i’m now going to sit down for the next hour or so and send out all the beta keys to everyone who has applied so far. And yes, this includes everyone who isn’t Irish too, as you’ve all been so nice.
