      Apparently BT will be rolling out 10Gb in Ireland, with Dublin -> Letterkenny -> Derry -> Belfast appearing to be the route.

      I wonder if there is a phase-2 for the rest of the country?

      (Dublin -> Galway -> Cork)???

      I presume the 10gb is for the infrastructure, the end user will only get 40mb

      either way any progress is great. I’ve only been finally upgraded to 7mb in carlow.Not that I’ll see this new 10gb boost anyway but still all progress is good.

      I’m in Dublin connected to the Blanchardstown exchange, supposedly 24mb capable and whats my speed? In and around 1.5mb tops – thinking about that NTL broadband at some point.
