Right you are Omen.
Fantastic it would be if it were like this every day. Although I too would fall behind has I have a little thing called college. Luckily, for the next two weeks it’s Easter so you won’t be able to get rid of me! :D
Keep up the community spirit folks and let us have a great second year!

Had to implement Direct Input for a force feedback steering wheel in my fyp, and I’m pretty sure I came close to a killing spree of murderous rage because of it!
Great that the boards are active though…

Yes unfortunately, I had never done any win32 programming before tackling direct input, ever! Only thought Java in college, and had to learn C++ myself. But yeah fter a while you get used to it. But after all my blood sweat and tears, turns out the Thrustmaster wheel I have in the Graphics dept is damaged.
I must really have pissed the world off recently!

I spent ages with Havok2 yesterday and it nearly brought me to tears…I had to get our Havok Programmer to sign a piece of paper saying
“Its not Ivans fault, it should be working” :D

[/quote:7d8e9172a8]Speaking of Havok, anyone got any idea about their hiring situation at the moment. A position for graduate engineer went up about two months ago which I applied for, but was told that they were looking for someone who could start immediately (however I’m in final year and couldn’t start till June). However the position is still advertised on their website, and no sign of it dissappearing.
Anyone heard anything?
