      Crystal Core

      Project name:
      Degeneration Theory

      Brief description:
      Crystal Core Game Studio is currently working on a first-person shooter that takes place in a modern day environment.
      Due to marketing, we cannot release information about the title. However we can tell you about our team.
      Based in Gloucestershire, in the south-west of the United Kingdom. Crystal Core has started development of their first title.
      While we are a small team of developers, we aim to bring quality game titles to the commercial market via digital distribution platforms.

      Target aim:
      Commercial

      Compensation:
      We are currently drawing up plans for a revenue/royalty share for each member in the team, while also securing enough to continue the studios development.

      Technology:
      We will be using the following software/hardware:
      – Leadwerks Game Engine 2
      – 3D Studio MAX/Maya/PhotoShop/Etc.

      The following tools and technology will be developed by us:
      – Custom Network System (Dedicated Server)
      – Additional Physics Adjustmants
      – Improved Map Editor (Plugins/Features)
      – Various Shaders

      Talent needed:
      We are currently only looking for people in the local area, however people within the UK should apply if interested.

      Lead Programmer:
      As lead programmer you could be given any of the following tasks:
      – Production of technical design documentation.
      – Working cooperatively with other team members in all areas of development.
      – Working with an existing game engine (Leadwerks 2).
      – Development of new systems and/or technologies.
      – Use of 3rd Party libraries / tools and technologies.
      – Provide technical support to art and design staff for engine/tools.
      – Task management based on schedules provided by the Project Managers.
      – Communicate with the team about the amount of time required to finish current tasks.

      You should have the following skills:
      – Strong C/C++ and assembly language programming skills.
      – Strong 3D graphics programming skills.
      – Must be able to work efficiently and independently.
      – Extensive knowledge of production development tools.
      – Ability to write efficient, clean, maintainable and portable code.
      – Professional communication skills (e-mail, phone, face to face).

      Additional Requirements:
      – A love for video games and the industry.
      – Experience with PS3, Xbox 360, and Steam is a plus.

      Music/Sound Composer:
      As Music/Sound COmposer you could be given any of the following tasks:
      – Production of audio design documentation.
      – Working cooperatively with other team members in all areas of development.
      – Working with an existing audio system (Leadwerks 2 Audio System).
      – Development of In-Game Sound Effects.
      – Use of 3rd Party tools and technologies.
      – Task management based on schedules provided by the Project Managers.
      – Communicate with the team about the amount of time required to finish current tasks.

      You should have the following skills:
      – Strong Music Composition skills
      – Strong Sound Design and Composition skills.
      – Must be able to work efficiently and independently.
      – Extensive knowledge of production tools.
      – Professional communication skills (e-mail, phone, face to face).

      Additional Requirements:
      – A love for video games and the industry.
      – Experience with PS3, Xbox 360, and Steam is a plus.

      For information regarding each members location, we can provide addresses to those that apply.
      If you live outside of our local area, this may not be a huge issue.
      However we will request for UK-Only applicants, this is a team functionality/communication measure.
