InactiveWow. This is all news to me. (about the director being rubbish, that is)
I HAVE to go and rent his movies now.
I take it they are just CHEDDAR beyond belief?
Are we talking Van Damme Cheddar here, or Hoff Cheddar? -

InactiveI watched Aliens vs Predator 2: Requiem last night, it was alright. Better than the first one anyway, lots of nods to the original Predator movie, even the score mimicked Alan Silvestri’s original. Still not a patch on the games though.

InactiveDon’t forget his Bloodrayne movie.
Or how about his House of the Dead movie, about half of which was actual footage from the game?
Or maybe his amazing Alone in the Dark film, where an orphanage is built on a portal to hell, and an ancient alien civilization, and a government lab, if I remember correctly.
That one was great, because he decided to cast Tara Reid as a scientist. She had a white coat and glasses, and so was smart. That did not stop her from getting groiney with the main character for no apparent reason.Oh, or the fact that he does not use scripts. He thinks that scripts are for people who do not know what they are doing. The actors in his film just show up every day and then he tells them what they are going to be saying.

InactiveGuys. Seriously. The more I hear, the more I really have to check this guy’s movies out. No scripts? government, alien, and demonic portals all on the one site.
Sweet divine.
Pete
As for AvP, thought the first one was rubbish. Haven’t seen AvP2 yet, but plan to. Think those film franchises went down hill when they lost Arnie and Ripley. I mean Danny "Im getting too old for this s***" Glover takes down a Predator? Come on. In fairness. It took Glover and Gibson BOTH to take down Jet Li, so it’d take Mad Max, Glover, Steven Segal, 2 Chuck Norrisses (or should that be Norrisi) and maybe a sober Jean Claude to take down a "real" Predator.Danny Glover…grumble grumble grumble…loser with a six-shooter….grumble grumble grumble…arthritis-ridden burnt out cop…grumble grumble grumble…ruining the Predator franchise….
(Predator 1 sound track is great. Listen to it at work all the time. That and Conan. Basil Poledouris. Great music to code to!)

InactiveI’ve always loved what Hideo Kojima said about the possibility of Uwe Boll directing a MGS movie:
"Absolutely not! I don’t know why Uwe Boll is even talking about this kind of thing. We’ve never talked to him. It’s impossible that we’d ever do a movie with him."Anyway.. no movie can be worse than Shoot Em Up. What the hell was Clive Owen thinking when he read the script??

InactivePlus one of the main characters please shouts "Get to da choppa!" on more than one occasion. Totally worth the ticket price alone…
The trailer for Far Cry is out already by the way, link. Once again Boll proves that only he can make a trailer for an action movie look terrible. :(

Inactive"…is that your gun?"
Oh man, that is a bad trailer.
Still can’t wait to gorge on the cheddar-fest.
think there is an agenda by hollywood to trash game-to-film adaptations on purpose, by giving then to incompetent yokels to make. that way when they bomb they can tell their bankers and funders to let them go back to making BS 19th periodic dramas.
or maybe not…
