Hi All, its been a while since I last posted anything, i’m currently working on demoreel material and have been for the last two months when i’m not working. My aim is to do what I love and create 3D content for games, which with any luck will happen fairly shortly. Anyway C&C’s welcome
V nice indeed. If im to give crits they wud have to be this. Althought the car does fit well with the background, it does seem a bit too crisp with the background and i think a lighter shadow is needed for the underneath of the car, if its a daytime shot it wud not be completely dark underneath. Cant fault the modellin at all, top job.
Looks good.. defo.. i particularly like the lights..
As far as criticisms go, the thing that sticks out to me most are the rims of the wheels..
They look like they need another material.. a hdri material or something
They just look to monotone.
I would suggest adding something to the ground in the forefront of the picture to break up the tiled map texture on the ground. Such as rocks or shrubbery or whatever… or even alter the texture by adding a mask texture to the specular level map with a different tile ratio.. anyway you get the idea..
