I guess as long as they stay C++ based I’ll keep my complaining to a bare minimum. grumble….grumble…grumble… 01/09/2008 at 2:44 am #42155 AnonymousInactive Is it being replaced? Alot of people are using raknet etc as an alternative for networking. As for directsound i could see that going xaudio is much better and supported on 360. 01/09/2008 at 7:54 am #42156 AnonymousInactive Hi Peter, I read some XNA presentations, and it looks like it is getting replaced with a Vista/Xbox360 solution. XPlay or XSocket or something like that. Can’t get any release info just yet, other than this: http://www.ogdc2007.com/materials/Mathe%20-%20LIVE%20on%20Windows%20Essentials.pptx Yeah, if they pull support of stifle Raknet (or similar) with Vista’s firewall, etc, that’d be a disaster.
