      Five-year contract gives EA sole rights to the NFL, including teams, players, and stadiums. Take-Two reacts, calling it a “tremendous disservice to the consumers.”

      I read recently that EA Sports’ market share of sports games had crashed to 75%. Looks like they’ll quickly be pushing that figure back up into the 85% area. I think this is very bad news for the industry and consumers.

      The question is, what’s next? NHL? NBA? Even FIFA?

      i heard that sega last NFL game(2k5), stole a good slice of madden sales. So does this mean that the cost of the right will be taken out of the developent of the game, therefore making a worse game?

      if so, i’m sure sega and the rest will still make a american football game, just with out the names…. so we could see if the public will learn, that license does not = good game
