Insert Credit has an article here about the Edinburgh Games Festival last weekend.

Did anyone here go? What were your impressions?

I was there and met quite a few Irish people…see under shindigs…the insertcredit article is pretty accurate ..the football session was a laugh as was the evening entertainment. The earlier sessions were somewhat uneven with quite a bit of discussion about film but less self-promotion than at many of these type of events..

But it is seriously impressive that 4 out of the 6 shortlisted for the Edge award for excellence was GameCube games!

Although I muust say, the reasoning for Metroid Prime winning the Edge award was more the dubious…..

Also sorry I missd the knees up – sounded like it was fun!

Yes that was I. Hope the meetings went well..I know you had business to attend to.

I thought first you were another company but there you go. where have you been hiding? Are you on the IT campus?

Anyway it would be great to meet you at a shindig so let us know what day of the week suits you as we have to accommodate people from outside Dublin as much as possible..

PS I’ll get my Edinburgh report up once computer services return my computer – they seem to have wiped my hard drive by accident!!
