      anyone going to SIGGRAPH, the Edinburgh Games Festival or London Games Week? It would be good to have different people maybe writing a few words on them as news pieces for gamedevelopers.ie..

      I have a good friend in London who’s off to all the shenanigans of the London games week. I could ask him if he wouldn’t mind writing up a few words?

      great. he can contact me through PM if he wants.. we are looking for a general piece, about 500 words, any gossip on the Irish appreciated! If he hasn’t written something like this before we can help with style etc..

      while were on the subject who was the bloke who did the write-up for E3, it was a very well written, as was it a good read.

      that was Pavel Barter – a freelance journalist based in Dublin. I’ll pass on your compliments..he also writes for PC Gamer I think and a few other mags..

      Hi all,

      Just to let you know that Jamie McCormick is talking over as editor of gamedevelopers.ie for the month of August as I go off on holidays and move house.

      As you may, or may not know, Jamie used to run Irishplayer.ie and is a regular writer here on gamedevelopers.ie

      best of luck with it Jamie..and help him out you guys..with news, events and feature ideas…
