Front-end Engineer

Hi there,

We’re currently recruiting for a front-end engineer at our SF office. However, if there was a suitable candidate in Ireland, we’d be willing to consider hiring them to work remotely from here (I’m based in Dublin myself)

Meez has over thirteen million registered users and is regularly placed in top five US websites for user engagement. We have a great office in the SOMA district of San Francisco.

We need someone who

[*:2d63273ca2]Has knowledge and demonstrable experience in Actionscript 3 (or equivalent)
[*:2d63273ca2]Can design and implement complex front-end code
[*:2d63273ca2]Is familiar with the principles of interaction design
[*:2d63273ca2]Is interested in gaming and the implementation of gameplay mechanics
[*:2d63273ca2]Will contribute ideas and work closely with designers and artists
[*:2d63273ca2]Has excellent communication skills
[*:2d63273ca2]Can work independently and as part of a team
[*:2d63273ca2]Has worked on a multi-user / networking technology (e.g. SmartFox / ElectroServer)
[*:2d63273ca2]Has had exposure to mobile concepts and technologies
