      Hey this is part of the same school project seen here:

      Its a greek head bust, based loosely on a greek statue in British museum, all very lawdy dawdy, anywho, the last is the low poly version I made in max, the rest is the work I did in zbrush.

      Are you going for a stone or metal look to it? From first impressions it seems to be made out of cast iron and although it looks great I would have thought for authenticity you’d go for some kind of marble look?

      Ya, I wanted it to look like a rusted metal material.

      A bit of history lesson but while marble is the most common, it was looked as the lowest of the materials in greek sculpture, painting and metals like gold or bronze were held in higher regard but they mostly got smelted down during the various conquests of Greece. Bit of useless information for you there.

      But ya marble would be good, just thought this was better.

      The texture is one of the best bits, in my view – maybe do another version in marble and leave that one :)

      Thanks alot lads, dont normally get much praise in my work, Ill have to carry my head in a wheelbarrow after this as it will be so big.
