      I have to register a i.e. domain, (need hosting too). Anyone recommend any hosts? The cheaper the better but need host that I can install joomla on (apache and mysql etc)

      I recommend MyHost.ie, they do both .ie registration and good quality hosting.

      I’d highly recommend siteground.com, they support joomla etc, and have the best online customer service I’ve seen to date. They are pretty cost effective also.

      I’d have to recommend HostGator, spent $50 on hosting and have got 300GB of space, unlimits DBs,live help should I ever need it,a whole bunch of backend addons(including joomla I believe) and pretty good bandwidth.

      Theres a good site out there for comparing different plans if you want to get external to Ireland for your hosting(I would I’ve found them all horribly overpriced) http://www.webhostingjury.com/

      thanks for the advice, but i had to register before 3pm yesterday and went with MyHost.ie, might have gone with siteground.com instead since they support joomla, oh well.
