      Hi all,

Im currently studying a multimedia and computer games development course in university. For the past 6 – 7 months we have been studying the Java language. I am enthusiastic and very interested in learnin the language and find it very interesting but am struggling to get a full grip on it!

I was wondering if any one could recommend any good java books or online tutorials!!!

All comments are very much appreciated.

      Thanks in advance.

      Hi there,
      I would suggest this book:
      http://www.amazon.com/Java-How-Program-Harvey-Deitel/dp/0132222205

      this e-book (free):
http://www.mindview.net/Books/TIJ4 (link seems down at the moment)

Sun Java website has also a lot of tutorials to get started:
      http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/

      Happy coding!
