      Article on the korean gaming scene.

      I know there was/is a professional gaming scene in the west, (remember guys like Thresh et al?).
      But look at the figures quoted in this article, especially for the numbers of fans… interesting stuff…

      I havent looked at the professional leagues in a while, but I do remember downloading and watching an hour long korean program which analysed a game of starcraft. They took segments ranging from abuot 15 seconds to 2 minutes and described what was going on, why it was good strategy etc (It was in korean not surprisingly though, so i didnt learn much).

      It was quite odd seeing a mainstream broadcast with proper anchors, slow motion replays and post match interviews, but it was a deadly serious show.
