Ok, so who’s going to this?

We saw that ages ago, but decided against it for a few reasons..
1. Its in London
2. Its not *just* developers…so prone to healthy retailers, distributors, publishers, suppliers and media playing. Open to "ringer" abuse.
3. How can we get smashed on the freebies if we are playing footy?

I hear ya. Well, we’ve entered a team. Should be interesting. I’m bringing a video camera and we’ll make a documentary of the day.
I hear your concerns about the wide-ranging nature of it. I heard from one of my colleagues who entered a team a few years ago that there were several semi-pro players, and one ex-Marseilles first-teamer (who then worked for a mo-cap studio). Apparently the latter was incredibly good, and couldn’t even be given a whack cos he was too slippery.
Ah well, free beer and the Free Radical minibus. Should be a good laugh.

I’m playing in goal (which I’m not at all bad in, though I do say so myself). We’re bringing not one but two video cameras, and we’re gonna make a road movie of the whole day out, possibly for use on the website.
It’s a day off work, and a free bar after the football.
