This game has sold 1/2 million units in Japan, its a action RPG or the Wii (by all accounts) and is also the third instalment in the franchise.
And I have just one (double-barrel) question. Has anyone played it or any of its predecessors???
I haven’t. And whats more, this game is being attributed to the jump in Wii hardware sales in japan (from 23,995 two weeks ago up to 95,357 during the week of this games launch).
Maybe I’m losing all sense of numbers and stats and the media is winning the battle and sensationalising everything, but this seems…well…pretty substantial, right?
Granted, its got CapCom backing the title, so that’s going to contribute to the marketing budget, but after viewing the trailer on YouTube, I’m still left with little to say apart from…"meh."
It looks to me like a less-pretty shadows of the colossus, or a re-vamped Dino-Crisis (also by Capcom).
Feel free to point out my oversights…
