      Anyone had their hands on new Nintendo baby?

      How’s 3D effect working?

      They have them in HMV, will go later and check it out… Seriously tempted to pre-order… but want to see it for myself first. If the 3D is as good as some people are saying, I’m sold.

      Any thoughts?

      (if I decide to get it) I’ll go with Lego Star Wars… But really looking forward to Zelda and Metal Gear Solid …. and Resi…. down the line.

      Will report back later after visiting HMV…

      Got it pre-ordered on Amazon.co.uk, it’s not out till the 25th, is it?

      Yes, 25th it is… But the only place you can check them out at the moment is HMV. They don’t have any game demos but you can try AR cards and 3d photos. Been there done that, full report later ;)

      I just got to try out the 3DS at GDC and I’ll definitely be pre-ordering one as soon as I get back to Dublin.

      The games I tried with it were:
      Zelda – excellent
      Pilotwings – very good
      Resi Evil Mercenaries – good

      If I get a chance to swing by the Nintendo booth again to try out more games I’ll post my thoughts here.

      I also had a go on one of Sony Ericsson’s Xperia play PSP-phone things and was left with a very ‘meh’ feeling after it

      So who’s gotten their 3DS yet?

      I picked up mine with pilotwings and Streetfighter4 yesterday, really happy with it so far :)

      I had pre-ordered one on Amazon and got it Friday evening.

      I also got those same two games – I had also pre-ordered Zelda and Mario Kart, which of course aren’t out yet.

      Got mine on the 25th.
      LegoSW and SSF4…. Playing games in 2D is not fun any more :wink:

      You should hear what the Wii Fit says when I’m not looking
      Dirty Dirty Stuff… I daren’t repeat it!

      Something like If "you eat something and no one sees you eat it, it still has calories" .. "your graduation picture was an aerial photograph" .. as well as other unbelievably crude stuff!! :/
