lol nintendo conference was so cheesy, but after watching sonys one it was far worse and tries to be super flashy .

Alot at the start it is about year 1 and year 5 and year 7
its like they are still banking on furture protensul.
And also the fact that its blue-ray player , so nothing new there.

Then he starts talking about their cell micro processor, which
was kinda interesting , but also kinda off the point at e3 if you ask me

gamers and consumers are leaving the pc behing ? ….right

oh jesus then a resistance 2 trailier, almost stoped watching ! i mean what do i know this one might be good, i mean it cant get anymore average or boring then the first one.

at least little big planet could be fun.
The playsation network looks like it has alot of titles
crash commando ? looks like worms in real time
      fat princess ? meh
      flower ? looks interesting
well there going down the media platform road just like
microsoft , loves of movies to download

DC universe online , console mmorpgs ? well i never thought much of them. And then MAG, well it sounded like planetside, might be interesting , too bad they dont even have any bloody gameplay to show.

2008 year of the playsation 3 , will only time will tell….

Still a Nintendo fanboy eh BCFESupermario. Ah well. Maybe some day you will own a platform where you will have access to more than 2 great games a year :D

      I kid, I kid.

To be honest I thought Sony played it safe but are still offering a good line up. Plenty of solid games for their user base even if many of them are multi-platform. Nintendo are doing a really good job at aiming for the casual market but doing very little for us "confirmed gamers". While I dont agree with the assessment I can see why some people have called the Wii a fad. The new Xbox dashborad is "interesting" and there seem to be a fair few games to keep us distracted. All in all I’m quite happy with the E3 offering…anyone else or am I alone in my optimism?

I’m surprised that no-one has mentioned FFXIII for the 360, that has to be the biggest surprise announcement of E3 so far. Sales wise I don’t think its going to make a huge difference, but symbiotically is a huge blow for Sony. Yet another Playstation brand appearing on the 360 (simultaneously)

Not really I kind of expected it would be. For example, Kojima said about MGS 4 they considered at one time developing for one platform and it was too expensive, considering amount of return for one platform vs production cost. Hence, by this comment I suspect they have a rough pc and 360 version developed in parallel already in Konami, ready to be tidied up and released, makes perfect financial sense.

Similarly, I’d imagine its the same situation for Square Enix. FF games cost a fortune now( especially if they now have to raise their production quality level to be on par or better than MGS 4), only way you’ll see your money back is to go multi-platform.

This is also the same argument for Capcom and RE5, thats multi-platform too and is going to cost arms, legs and torsos! ;)

I think Microsoft kind of stole the show a bit.
Fallout, gears and Banjo look great.

Although Sony did put on a solid show it’s mad how they lost the FFXIII license. Another big license.

and I care less about the Nintendo Wii now then I did before
