      Was it just my PS3 or did the Playstation store not update at all yesterday, with no sign of the promised GT5 prologue?

      Theres now talk of a 6gb install and a patch to download? WTF?

      My disk copy arived today its great but

      6GB Install and something like a 1 or 2 GB patch.

      a 1 or 2 gb patch? The whole fuckin thing was supposed to be less than 2gb to download. Thats annoying me now

      Yup. I hope this doesn’t become a trend with PS3 games – one of the nice things about consoles was poppin’ in the disc and playing straight away

      I think that it will be the common thing to install games on the PS3…

      For PS3 owners, the main reason you have to install certain titles is down to the disc reading speed of the console’s Blu-ray drive. It’s simply not that fast at reading the info contained on the disc, probably because it’s a first-generation drive and the tech is far younger than that of DVD.[/quote:505cf931b9]
