hey guys i need help asap…i got the nv4_disp display driver error during the weekend on my laptop and i need help on what to do. ive got repeat exams up in 3 weeks and safe mode is driving me mad what should i do ive looked at a few fourms and i was told to delete my nvidia driver which ive done and now when i try and re – install it wont work and since my cd drive dosent work i dont know what else to do
please help

If the drivers have been uninstalled then reboot into Safe Mode and use the tool Driver Cleaner to make sure every last remnant of them is gone.
Once that’s done reinstall the latest version of the relevant drivers. These can usually be obtained form your laptop manufacturer’s website. If you can’t find these then grab the relevant ones directly from the nVidia website.
If this fails then let us know but explain in more detail what exactly is going on when you say "it won’t work" and what model and spec your laptop is.

i take it back its fuked again
ill drop it in to a repair shop tomorrow have work all week and gettin a load of me sisters machine
