      Hi,
      I was reading this month’s Develop and an article made a mention of an Irish animator from the previous month. I haven’t read the article before so went looking and here is a snippit from the piece that was mentioned. Nice bit of praise for Irish animators and Ballyfermot’s Department of Animation from Tancred Dyke-Wells (Lead Artist at Kuju).

      Incidentally, my Irish colleaguewas trained at Ballyfermot College’s Department of Animation, Dunlin – set up by the US industry legend Don Bluth and still the only place Britain or Ireland (other than perhaps Bristol School of Animation, which is stop-motion orientated) that teaches formal, commercially viable animation skills. Which is why you may have notics there seems to be a Mafia of Irihs animators floating about.
